So yet another Contest ladies and gents! Trying to keep you busy enough we are, eh?
This one is relatively simple, rather easy, and shouldn’t cause any problems, in fact, EVERYONE should be able to participate. Why? Because by god you are ALL doing it already!
Say WHUUUAAAH?
Its an RP Contest! Thus, considering we’re all here to RP, YOU’RE DOING IT ALREADY! *Bricks lazy people*
Now, this RP Contest is quite simple; you RP, DUH, you have fun, make it interesting, maybe have a twist here or there, and zomg, you win! Er, well, hopefully anyways, fingers crossed loves~
Anyways, onto more details I guess.
First of all, every RP has a very simple Goal: Find someone.
What? Yes.
Its that simple, you’re on a pseudo Quest to find a missing person. PSEUDO, this is NOT a Quest, this is NOT a Side Quest, this is a normal thread, you don’t have to solve puzzles, you don’t have to fight monsters. Can you? Yes. Do you HAVE to? No. You can spend the entire thread just trading life stories between characters if you want as you follow footprints.
Now, who is this person? Is it your friend, a child, a family member, a random stranger you saw up the trail that mysteriously vanished in a cloud of red smoke? Perhaps its even a person's pet? What Race are they if you pick a person? A Zora out for a swim that poofed in a flash of lighting, a Goron who fell down a hole, a Deku who was whisked away by a rather strong gust of wind? Did you see them disappear or did you hear about it or were you hired to find them? Where did they disappear? Where are you searching? What led you there? Do you find the missing person? Are they dead or alive? Are they gone forever?
Its all your choice~ In the words of Budweiser; “Go Nuts Buddy”. Creativity is HIGHLY encouraged!
A person is missing, you are trying to find them, that’s all there is to the “Plot” of these threads. Aside from that, do as you please.
Now, you cannot solo this unfortunately because there are a few requirements, and they are the following:
1. All threads must have “[CONTEST]” in their Subject. 2. You can have between 2 and 4 people in this, no more, no less. 3. The object of these threads must be to find a person. 4. The threads must be at least 2 pages long, with the longest being 5 pages. (Basically, do not breach 6) 5. KEEP IT INTERESTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, while I expect all of the rules to be obeyed, #5 is what decides the winner folks.
Everyone will be graded on the actual STORY of rescue; how interesting it is to read, how good are the twists and turns if you have any, the interaction between the characters, just how good it is to read. Honestly, you can even make the entire thing one big joke if you want, as long as its interesting.
Really, you could say to win this Contest you just have to keep Midda and myself interested enough to read the entire thing.
Now for those who make REALLY intriguing Threads, what are the rewards:
1st Place: 2 MUs and a Blue Ring: A ring with an almost simple sapphire decorating it. It has the ability to nullify all incoming attacks for one post, with a recharge of four.
2nd Place: 1 MU and a Red Ring: A ring with a brilliant ruby upon it. It has the ability to nullify four incoming attacks for one post, with a recharge of six.
3rd Place: Magical Boomerang: A metal boomerang that has been blessed with magical powers, the one who throws it can control how it moves by focusing his thoughts, though it can only be maintained for two posts before automatically flying back to its owner and requiring a two post cool down before being able to be controlled again, though it can still be thrown normally.
4th Place: 75 Posts.
5th Place: 40 Posts.
All participants will receive 20 Posts, so long as its not an extremely bad thread.
Of course, these Rewards will be given to each person in the Threads, not just ONE person will get something and the others will be stuck lol
What character you have in the thread will be the one that receives the Reward, so choose wisely! Also, even if you have 20 Characters, you can only use 1 character and be in 1 thread in this entire contest, no more.
You guys have 3 weeks from when this was posted to finish your thread and post a link to the thread in this thread.
Due to a lot of people requesting it, I'll extend the contest a week and some.
The Contest will now end on Sunday, the 20th, and I will begin judging them on Monday when I log on.
Remember people, when you complete the thread, post a link to it in this thread, I'm not going to hunt our dozen or so boards for all of them and that'd be a sucky reason to lose lol

Twinkles: Flora, Caeliopiea, and Cearus. 3rd Place: Magical Boomerang: A metal boomerang that has been blessed with magical powers, the one who throws it can control how it moves by focusing his thoughts, though it can only be maintained for two posts before automatically flying back to its owner and requiring a two post cool down before being able to be controlled again, though it can still be thrown normally.
Gave everyone their rewards, all that's left is for those who won MUs to use them~
For clarification:
Vio got 4th Place because he detailed to me what the thread was SUPPOSED to be about, but due to RL stuff, his partners weren't able to join him at all, and I feel that it jipped him to put it honestly.
For those in 5th place, you tried, but you didn't get done in time, so I still gave you a placing~
And as for the last thread, that wasn't a Contest thread to be fair lol But due to your simple and true attempt at getting in, even illegally, I let you take the bare minimum lol
